The Lebanese Union for Child Welfare LUCW, established in 1948, is the first coordination umbrella for the child welfare in the arab world. To date its membership numbers 55 association whose projects target the implementations of the convention on the rights of the child. To achieve this mission, LUCW, initiates & actively participates in these activities: Advocacy, lobbying, & monitoring the implementation of the convention of the rights of the child through: conducting research on the status of children in Lebanon; conferences exhibitions : workshops & training courses .
