Celtic Tiger
is Michael Flatley's new and powerful arena-scale dance
spectacular. The show marks the return of Michael Flatley
as both choreographer and dancer as he helps punctuate this dramatic
production with his masterful solo performances. Flatley’s dazzling
numbers on the flute add to the excitement of his latest work, as does
the cast of 60 dancers, who excell in the art of precision, skill and
movement taking Celtic
Tiger
to a new level of performance.
Ireland’s
colorful evolution through the centuries is lushly set
to composer Ronan Hardiman’s unforgettable music. As he blends an
array of world rhythms and dramatic orchestrations, with a base of
traditional Irish song, his music takes us on an epic journey through
the many landscapes of
Ireland’s rich past. Hardiman is the
applauded composer of Michael Flatley’s
Lord of the
Dance and
Feet of Flames and
has released several solo albums with music ranging from classic
Celtic to virtuosic piano.
Celtic
Tiger, is a phrase coined at the beginning of
Ireland’s economic resurgence meant
to symbolize the new Economic Ireland. This powerful symbol guides the
story as the essence of being Irish is communicated. Flatley once
again pushes the boundaries of traditional Irish dance as a dynamic
art form through the use of powerful imagery and dynamic music.
