THE AUTOMATIC

A signing to Polydor via the label deal with B Unique, The Automatic are a very young band from Wales. The first single ‘Recover’ was released completely through B unique and their indie set up. Second single ‘Raoul’ will be the bands first release via Polydor and is released March 20th. Third single and Album will be in May.
A firm favourite of NME, the band were named as one of their bands to watch this year and were also in the top 10 of the BBCi poll.
 
PROTOCOL

The second Protocol single ‘Where Is The Pleasure’ was A listed at UK's Radio 2. It has received good support from UK press.
Polydor hope that it will be the third single ‘Love Is My Drug’ that breaks this band before their debut album ‘Rules Of Engagement
More than a few people have mentioned Duran Duran when they hear Protocol and to keep up the 80’s comparisons, the band also supported Aha in their UK tour.
 
GUILLEMOTS

One the most hotly tipped bands for 2006. Guillemots have had two singles out in the UK on indie label Fantastic Plastic, the second of which ‘Trains To Brazil’. First Polydor single ‘We’re Here’ comes out in the UK March 27th and the album will follow another single in May.
Internationally, Fantastic Plastic have licensed the first two singles to independent labels to release together as one mini album...
 
HUMANZI

Irish band Humanzi are signed to the Fiction label and have had one single ‘Fix The Cracks’ out so far which has received great support on XFM and specialist play on Radio 1. Second single ‘Long Time Coming’ is out now in the UK.

The album ‘Tremors’ is being finished now and is scheduled for a May release, following a third single.

After the huge success of their first single "Don't Cha", The Pussycat Dolls will be releasing their debut album on September 19.
Producers on the album currently include Ron Fair, Jimmy Iovine, Will I Am and Timbaland. Guests on the album include Busta Rymes, Will I Am and Timbaland.
The album currently includes a cover of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" and a rendition of Donna Summer's smash "Hot Stuff".
 
22nd August sees the UK release of a new single from Girls Aloud, entitled ‘Long Hot Summer’. This will be their first single from a new album (their third) which will be released at the end of this year following a second single.
 
Tommy Hilfiger & Estee Lauder have created the fragrance: True Star Men.
True Star Women was recently released with the input and assistance of Beyonce Knowles. Enrique Iglesias has joined forces with Tommy Hilfiger & Estee Lauder and their “True Star Men” TV commercial will feature Enrique and the track 'Ring My Bell' taken from his new album to be released later this fall.
